Fowl vs. Fowl
I went to my first exotic chicken show for this story. The Seaside Feather Fanciers Spring Fling is held every April at the Ventura County fairgrounds. If you've never been to a poultry show, it really is worth a visit. A couple of things I learned: there are a LOT of breeds of exotic chickens; and show chicken people like to wear clothes with pictures of chickens on them.
